Werder Bremen is not only DENKBAR’s favorite soccer club in Germany’s first division, the club is also a leading pioneer in the field of corporate social responsibility. Already in 2002, the club started the project ‘100 schools – 100 clubs’. 100 schools and 100 clubs assumed social responsibility in topics like fair play, anti-discrimination or prevention of violence and criminality. From this unique starting point, Werder Bremen developed the department for social management that solely focuses on social project management.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
DENKBAR developed the CSR brand “Werder bewegt – Lebenslang” and supported Werder Bremen in transforming their social department into a CSR division. The brand serves as an umbrella for all CSR activities and is accompanied with project and brand focused press work by DENKBAR.
