Do you know Malcesine?
In addition to a mild climate, good wine and beautiful mountain scenery, the origin of DENKBAR is to be found on the Lago di Garda in Italy. The Mediterranean flair offered us the best conditions for creative ideas and visions. The result was the agency DENKBAR – PR & Marketing GmbH, which was founded in 2002 in the Hanseatic city of Bremen.
Since 2012 we have been working in the Alte Schnapsfabrik on the Kleine Weser in the middle of Bremen’s city centre on about 160 m² with a large balcony and our own Ping-Pong table. With our PR and marketing agency, we now serve national and international clients from numerous industries ranging from b2b to b2c.

But in our blog there is a little story about PR, marketing and advertising for job applications:
We have done our homework
From the letterhead over the server to the question of mobility: we have done our homework.
Since 2010, we have been producing our CO2 reports and presenting them to the public via Green Responsibility – Network for Sustainable Communication. All in all, the following unavoidable CO2 emissions have occurred in recent years through electricity, heating, mobility, material consumption (paper) and online use in our agency:
2010 = 17.8 tons CO2 /2010 Report
2011 = 15.3 tons CO2 /2011 Report
2012 = 12.8 tons of CO2
2013 = 17.3 tons of CO2 /2012 & 2013 Report
2014 = 11.1 tons of CO2
2015 = 16.5 tons of CO2
2016 = 12.4 tons CO2 /2014 & 2015 & 2016 Report
2017 = 12.3 tons CO2 /2017 Report
2018 / Compilation by additional costs approx. end of 2019
The CO2 emissions incurred in previous years were offset 100% by a climate protection donation to PrimaKlima-weltweit e.V.. PrimaKlima is thus currently financing the climate protection project Bolivia certified according to the Gold Standard (ArBolivia Phase II – The Cochabamba Project – 2951 – premium quality carbon credits / gold standard).
In concrete terms, the current funds are invested in thinning, climate-friendly “smart” agriculture, tree plantations, useful trees, fire management, renewable energies and strengthening civil society structures. The certificate/donation certificate can always be found at the end of the annual CO2 reports available above.
We are also committed to offsetting the unavoidable CO2 emissions this year with climate protection projects in the following year.
